After widespread adoption by subcultures in 1960s England unlocked the fashion potential of their humble work boots, the genie was well and truly out of the bottle and the genre-hopping style of Dr. Martens was born.

Handcrafted in the Dr. Martens Wollaston factory, the 101 6-eye boot provides a versatile canvas for new material. Rough Finish suede from Leeds-based tannery C. F. Stead has a rugged, natural texture with a hairy nap. The boot is fitted with contrast hiker laces anchored by antique gold D-rings.
